The University Heights Branch Library is gearing up for summer. We’ve freshened things up with new tables in the youth section, changed our display case for Pride Month’s theme of “Thrive” and ordered the latest hot titles in fiction and non-fiction for that summer beach read. If you want a custom, hand-crafted reading list for Summer 2023, register for the free MatchBook service via our website at https://www.sandiego.gov/public-library/. For all things green and growing, plant native wildflowers with our new seed library launching very soon. The UH Garden Club will be presenting an “Irrigation 101” workshop on Saturday, June 10th . Finally, “Find Your Voice!” at the library by registering for the Summer Reading Program, read what you have been wanting to read this summer, and try attending the jungle drumming show on Saturday, June 24th . There are so many ways for you to thrive, stay cool and informed, and to Find Your Voice! at the University Heights Branch Library this summer. Pop in. We’d love to see you.
