You can get good reads at great prices all month long at our very own UH branch book sale shelves. In fact, we have just expanded from one to two bookshelves to keep up with demand! Check out the green Book Sale bookshelves and choose from a variety of books and magazines. We are always getting in new items, so stop by regularly. Donations from the book sales go to support the UH library.
The Friends of San Diego Public Library book sale is held on the third Saturday (and Sunday) of the month. The sales are located around the rear of the library on the lower floor. There will be a sale this Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact the Friends of the San Diego Public Library at 619-542-1724.

A specially-curated selection of over 1,000 books are available for purchase in association with the Friends of the San Diego Central Library through Amazon book sales. These books include rare and unusual books, foreign language selections, and much more.
The Friends of the San Diego Public Library (FSDPL) hosts a book sale on the lower level of the University Heights Branch Library. Browse for amazing bargains in our 3000 square foot used bookstore of well-organized books of all genres plus CDs, DVDs, records, and sheet music.
